UF Administration

Tigert Hall was named in honor of John J. Tigert, president of UF from 1928-1947. After serving as president of the U.S. Commission of Education under U.S. President Harding in 1921, Tigert guided UF through the economic woes of the Great Depression.

Tigert Hall is the main administration building on campus. This building houses the offices of the university president. Other offices include:
